what the numbers mean
Our signal combines user-submitted problem reports with social-media monitoring, compared against each service's own typical baseline for that time of day. An outage verdict means the current report volume is anomalous for that service — not that the company has confirmed an incident. Report counts are individual user submissions, not an estimate of total affected users.
timestamps
All times on down.now are UTC unless stated otherwise. Incident start times refer to when the report anomaly was first confirmed by our detection, which may trail the first user impact by a few minutes.
